Vibha is thrilled to announce the inauguration of a state-of-the-art STEM lab at the International Community School (ICS), marking a significant milestone in our mission to empower children through education!
This transformative initiative reflects our commitment to bridging educational gaps in underserved communities. Partnering with ICS—a vibrant public charter school serving over 500 students from 66+ nationalities—we're equipping the next generation with the tools and opportunities to excel in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
💡 Highlights from the Inauguration Ceremony:
✨ The STEM lab was inaugurated by Dr. Seth, alongside ICS STEM students, parents, and teachers, creating a truly collaborative and inspiring moment.
✨ Volunteers from Georgia Tech Research Institute showcased innovative science projects that captivated children and adults alike, sparking curiosity and creativity.
✨ Vibha's CEO Ashwini and dedicated Vibha volunteers graced the occasion, celebrating this milestone achievement with the ICS community.

✨ Vibha’s Georgia Tech volunteers played a crucial role in setting up the STEM classroom, ensuring it was equipped to inspire learning and innovation.

ICS students face significant challenges in STEM education. With Vibha’s support, the new STEM lab features cutting-edge equipment, including 3D printers, robots, lab safety equipment, and drones, and will be led by a full-time STEM teacher. This lab is designed to nurture curiosity, foster innovation, and empower students to build a brighter future.

For over seven years, Vibha has partnered with ICS, impacting more than 2,500 children through various initiatives. This STEM lab expands our mission, addressing educational disparities in Georgia and strengthening our connection with the local community.

Vibha Atlanta is sponsoring the Vibha STEM lab at International Community School in Decatur, GA, a charter school for refugee and immigrant children. The brand new STEM lab will be inaugurated on Friday, 17th January at the ICS campus. This is yet another example of Vibha’s long-term commitment to the local community.

We're a volunteer driven non-profit organization dedicated to create brighter futures for underprivileged children. Set up in 1996, the Atlanta action center was one of the first few Vibha action centers in US. The Atlanta volunteers are a group of energetic and enthusiastic people from all walks of life, brought together by a strong belief that we can positively impact the future of India - even from half way around the world. The volunteers organize events, drives and campaigns in Atlanta and create awareness about the cause as well as raise much needed funds to support grass root projects in India. To maximize our impact, we select projects from all possible spheres of influence that can affect an underprivileged child - right from poverty to education to health care to canvassing for changes in government policies.

Vibha Milestones and Highlights
What an incredible recognition for Vibha Atlanta.
On Feb 15th, Vibha Atlanta was honored by Georgia House of Representatives by passing a House Resolution recognizing the 25years of impactful work in India and US. We received this resolution in Georgia Capitol from Dr. Michelle Au, Georgia House of Representative District 50 and Mr. Jason Esteves, Member of Georgia State Senate District 6.
