Deepa Balraj
Deepa moved to Austin, Texas from Kerala, India in 2001. She started volunteering with Vibha in early 2013. She holds a Masters in Computer Science and worked at AMD for 5 years before she moved to IBM where she currently works. She has (and continues to) volunteered for several organizations such as Saheli, Meals on Wheels, Habitat for Humanity, Capitol Area Food Bank, GirlStart etc. Her interests include dancing, reading, traveling, watching movies, listening to music and spending time with friends. |
Vishal Jajoo
Vishal came to Austin, Texas in 2011 for work from Pune, India. Vishal is bachelor of chemical engineering and currently working as Asst. Practice lead - SAP with Titan GS. He has been volunteering with Vibha since 2013 and trying to build team. While Volunteering with Vibha he learned a lot and came across amazing people trying to make a positive impact on underprivileged children's lives. He likes travelling, movies and making friends. |
Gagan Singh
Gagan moved to Austin from Salt Lake City in 2011. He holds a Masters in Computer Engineering and works at AMD. He loves running, hiking, nature photography and spending time with friends. |
Rupali Jajoo
Rupali is native of Daryapur, Maharashtra and she is Civil engineer. She came to Austin, Texas in 2012. Currently she is working from home and taking care of family. She started volunteering with Vibha since early 2013. Her interest is cooking, traveling, watching movies and listening to music. |
Sudharshan Krishnan aka Sudan
Sudharshan moved to USA from India in 2008 and did his MS in Information Management from Syracuse University. He has worked as a Data Management Consultant at PwC for 1.5 years and recently moved to Austin for his new job as a Senior Data Reporting Analyst in one of the top Event Management firms. He is a cheerful, smart and ambitious guy who likes meeting people and making new friends. His interests are cooking, travelling, learning new things and playing games on his x box. His favorite kind of music are any good Indian music, hip-hop and western classical .The cuisines that he likes the most are Italian, Indian, Mexican and Thai. He is very passionate about his career and his long term goal is to start a consulting business |
Mohan Rokkam
Mohan Rokkam is a resident of Austin having moved here for work in 2007. In his first year in Austin, he saw the great work being done by others around him in volunteering and decided to do what he could to help out. Since then, he has volunteered with the Capitol Area Food Bank, Greater Austin Malayalee Association, Austin Tamil Sangam and other local organizations. His interests include reading, traveling, cuisines, cars, and family. |
Aditya Mathad
Aditya Mathad moved to Austin, Texas in 2012. Holds a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M and has been working at AMD from June 2012. He has volunteered for some organizations and continue it. Interests include music, sports, movies and travel. |
Nisha Rao
Nisha Rao moved to Austin early last year and has recently graduated from the University of Arizona with a Masters in Information Systems. She is currently working in Healthcare Consulting in Austin. She loves travelling, writing, playing music and watching movies. She is originally from Mumbai, Maharashtra. |
Sunny Sengupta
Sunny Sengupta has been residing in Austin since 2005 and has dual Bachelors Degree in Cognitive Neurology & Business Administration from University of Texas at Austin with plans to attend Medical school sometime in the future to pursue a career in Pediatric Neurosurgery. He has been actively involved with several non-profit organizations including Teach for America, American Red Cross, Livestrong Foundation as well performing community service duties at Dell Children's Hospital & M.D. Anderson Cancer Center assisting in community development and social welfare. Sunny moved to United States from Kolkata, India when he was 12 years old and had the unique experience of growing up amidst the urban youth culture of America. He strongly believes in laying the foundation of his own legacy through sheer honest effort in supporting others who are underprivileged and deserves all the opportunity that he himself has been able to achieve so far. In winter spare time, Sunny enjoys snowboarding and skiing and had the distinguishable achievement of conquering black diamond trails in Colorado and New Mexico while in summer often goes on white water rafting expeditions. Sunny hopes to continue being actively involved in Vibha and conduct a humble difference in the lives of many. |
