To educate, empower and enable every individual who wishes to make a positive difference in the life of the underprivileged child.
We are volunteer driven non-profit organization dedicated to create brighter futures for the underprivileged children. Setup in 1998, the bay area was one of the first few Vibha Action Centers in the United States. The bay area volunteers are a group of energetic and enthusiastic individuals, from all walks of life brought together by a strong belief that we can positively impact the future of humanity across the globe. The volunteers organize the events, drives and campaigns. This creates much needed awareness as well raises much required funds to run the projects successfully. To maximize the impact we select projects from all spheres of influence that can affect the underprivileged child - right form the poverty to education to healthcare to canvassing for changes in the government policies.
What we do in Vibha, we do so with immense pride. We rise to the occasion, display full ownership and accountability, consistently utilize the freedom and responsibility we have in everything we do, to make the impact.
Vibha’s Board of Directors and the National Executive team oversees all the functional areas (Fundraisers and Events, IT, Programs and Products, Projects, Marketing and Volunteer Relations) at a national level.
The Action Centers elect their own teams and organize fundraising initiatives independently. Every Action Center has an Action Center Coordinator (ACC) who leads the AC specific efforts and communicates with the other Centers and the National Executive Team.
