Volunteering with Vibha
Vibha volunteers are at the heart of the organization. Our volunteers work together to create a brighter future for thousands of underprivileged children in India and the US. Volunteering for Vibha is not only fulfilling and an opportunity to give back, but it is also lots of fun! It is a great way to meet new people and even make friends who have similar passions and goals in improving the education opportunities for generations to come. We are looking for volunteers to help with fundraising, event planning, budget management, marketing and other activities, so all backgrounds and interests are welcome!
What are you waiting for? Make a difference by signing up via the Volunteer Form.
1. Veggilution Farming - Vibha volunteers planted vegetables at Veggielution Farm in East San Jose that grows crops, educates youth about agriculture and the environment, and makes the fresh produce available to the local community members, especially those who are in impoverished areas.
2. Second Harvest Food Bank 2020 - One of the local food banks that we have volunteered at several times. Volunteers helped sort and pack fresh food that is then distributed to thousands of families in need every month.
3. Watering the plants and Vegetation - Stanford Tree Preservation - Cared for oak trees planted on land preserved and funded by Stanford University near Foothills Park in Palo Alto. Activities include planting, watering, mulching, and repairing fences. Great way to enjoy the outdoors...and get a good workout!
4. Social Outings We like to have fun and celebrate our hard work and milestones. Volunteer hard and play hard too! Here, Vibha volunteers and Striders celebrate the end of a training season in Fremont.
