Chicago : Feed My Starving Children - Jan 2018

All VibhaChicago’s events are titled ‘The Art of Giving’ events while this event is bit more special, we can say it’s an Art of Giving back event.  As a way of giving back to the community, the volunteers, their family, friends and patrons met at FeedMy Children Center at Aurora on Jan-27-2018 to pack nutritious meals to be sent to underprivileged children across the world. 

The event went so well. Everyone had fun and were happy to be a part of it.  Even the elementary school kids who attended the event loved packing the food and said it was all fun. The air was filled with energy and high spirits. It always feels good to help those in need, be it big or small.  

A bit thank you to Natasha (our community event lead) who organized this event and gave us all an awesome opportunity to serve the community and be a part of feeding the underprivileged children. Srishti, although she has taken up the tough volunteer relationship role recently, she also gives us a big hand when it comes to publicity with social media for the event and fills the gap we have in marketing role too. Sonali (IT lead), as in this event, she always convinces her friends/family to be a part of all our events and show her support to the team, apart from keeping our webpage up to date about events. Ajitha (our coACC) who supports all our events without fail, captured all the great moments at this event. Vibha Chicago’s leads are all multitasking experts and pitch in wherever needed. 

Well, we had a great start for this year. We will keep up the spirit and try to do more awesome efforts for rest of the year.
