Chicago - The Art of Giving: March 2018
Vibha- Chicago Action Center recently held an ‘Art of Giving’ Facebook Contest to promote the team’s activities and spread awareness about Vibha in the local and global community. The event was held through Facebook for the month of March and interested participants could submit an entry in the form of a painting, poster, photo, poem, story, or a short video. There were two themes to choose from- ‘Nature’s Smile’ or ‘Child Empowerment’. The entries were sorted under two age categories (Under 13 and 13 and above).
The online contest saw several entries ranging widely in age group and location. We had participants not just from the Chicago land but also from other parts of USA and even India. This year's entries were judged by Meera Jayakrishnan , Artistic Director of Meera Dance & Arts. Vibha Chicago is thankful to her to take the time and select the prize winning entries. The winners for this event are :

13 and Above Category : Arjaa Raghu . The Theme for the winning entry was "Child Empowerment". Judge's Note : A very strong message and those eyes totally captured the innocence and emotions to bring out the Child Empowerment. Incredible shading! Congratulations! ????

Under 13 : Mithra Rajesh. The Theme for the winning entry was "Nature's Smile. Judge's Note : An absolute phenomenal words selection and fusing the nature scenes together to bring out Nature’s Smile! Wonderful poem! Congratulations!????

Arjaa Raghu's entry was also the winner for the "Most Liked Entry on Facebook"
