Vibha is a completely volunteer driven non-profit organization that provides for education, health and opportunity for underprivileged children. Founded in 1991, Vibha has a presence in 46 cities. Its focus areas are education, special needs children, health & nutrition, job readiness skills, rescue & rehabilitation of underprivileged children. It has invested $18+ million in various projects and has helped 2+ million children so far. Vibha is 2019 top-rated non-profit and has achieved Guidestar's highest platinum rating, putting it in top 0.1% of all non-profit organizations.
The Dallas adult and youth volunteers are a group of energetic and enthusiastic people from all walks of life, brought together by a strong belief that we can positively impact the future of underprivileged children. The volunteers organize events, drives, and campaigns in Dallas and create awareness about the cause. Our signature event - Kite Flying Festival (KFF) held in May attracts around 5000 people. In 2020, We did 50 events / service projects and helped the local Dallas community, from tutoring kids, food drives and making blankets & masks for the needy to supporting Communities In School Dallas Region (CISDR) & Scottish Rite Hospital.
